Dark Raven Labs was founded in San Diego by three people who spent years watching businesses get burned by the IT industry — two combat veterans and a civilian technologist who shared the same frustration and the same refusal to accept it.
Not burned by hackers. Burned by their own providers. Vague contracts. Reactive support. Hidden fees. Security treated as an afterthought. And when clients asked hard questions, they got ticket numbers instead of answers.
We didn't start Dark Raven Labs because we saw a market opportunity. We started it because we were pissed off.
Two of our founders served — deployments, sleepless operations, and environments where failure isn't theoretical. The third spent those same years in the trenches of enterprise IT, building and managing the systems that businesses depend on every day. All three came together in San Diego and built the IT company they wished existed when they were on the client side. One that communicates clearly, operates with discipline, and treats your business like the mission it is.

The Marine
Served in the United States Marine Corps with deployments that demanded precision under pressure, zero-defect operations, and the kind of situational awareness that translates directly into cybersecurity and infrastructure operations. Brought the Marine Corps ethos of "improvise, adapt, overcome" into how Dark Raven Labs approaches every client environment — because no two networks are the same and cookie-cutter solutions don't survive first contact with reality.
The Soldier
Served in the United States Army with a focus on mission planning, logistics, and systems-level thinking that shapes how Dark Raven Labs designs and manages client technology environments. Brought the Army's methodology of structured operations, documented procedures, and after-action accountability into every engagement — because when something goes wrong at 2 AM, you don't improvise your response. You execute the plan you already built.
The Engineer
Spent years building, managing, and fixing the IT environments that businesses depend on every day — and watching vendors fail those businesses repeatedly. Brought deep technical expertise in infrastructure design, cloud architecture, and systems engineering alongside the operational perspective of someone who's been the person answering the phone at 6 AM when the server is down. Understands the client side because that's where the career started.
Between them: years of active duty service, combat deployments, service-connected disabilities earned in defense of this country, and decades of hands-on IT experience — combined with a shared conviction that the skills the military teaches and the discipline that engineering demands are exactly what the IT industry is missing. Two veterans and one technologist who all agree on one thing: your business deserves better than what this industry has been selling.
