It is actually free. No invoice, no hidden charges, and no discounted first month. We do this because the assessment shows what we do better than any brochure. Some businesses choose to work with us afterward, and others simply keep the report. Both are fine.
"Are you going to hard sell me after the assessment?"
No. We walk you through the findings, answer your questions, and let you decide. There is no follow up call campaign, no limited time offer, and no pressure. If the report speaks for itself, you will reach out. If it does not, we were not the right fit. Either way, you keep the report.
"We already have an IT provider. Why would we need this?"
That is exactly who this is for. If your current provider is doing everything right, our report will confirm it, and that is worth knowing. If they are not, you will have documented evidence of every gap. Either way, you decide with data instead of gut feel.
"How much access do you need to our systems?"
Minimal. We use scanning tools that do not change anything in your environment and do not require admin credentials to your core systems. We only scan with your written authorization, and a mutual NDA is available on request. For a deeper assessment, we may ask for access limited to viewing your firewall dashboard and Microsoft 365 admin panel. We never install persistent agents or make changes during the assessment.
"What if we're too small for managed IT?"
If you have at least 10 employees and use networked technology in your daily operations, you are not too small. Most of our San Diego clients started with 15 to 30 seats. The assessment shows whether managed IT makes financial sense at your current size, and if it does not yet, we will tell you honestly.
"How long until we get the report?"
Within 5 business days of the assessment. The findings call is typically scheduled the same week. Your own time investment is about 50 minutes in total: roughly 30 for the audit and 20 for the findings call.
